Used wherever automatic control is required
for liquids, platens, air or process heating applications. These
general purpose thermostats are actuated by expansion and contraction
of a liquid in the bulb and diaphragm assembly. Standard capillary
length is 48".
Snap Action
Double Pole - Single Throw, Direct Acting, Contacts normally
closed.

Simmerstat® Regulator
or Cycling Timer
TYPE TYJ
"Simmerstat" regulators provide a range of control
from zero to full heat by opening and closing a snap-action switch
in the circuit at short, definite time intervals, convenient
for cookers and hot plates, grills, glue pots, drying ovens and
similar applications.
The control knob has a scale marking in five
divisions from "off" to "full".
Ratings: 15 amps-200/250VAC or 15 amps-100/125VAC.

 Surface
Mount Thermostats
Surface mount thermostats are suitable
for appliance or small wattage applications. Applied firmly to
the surface of the heated object, the thermostat is activated
by expansion and contraction of the base plate causing vertical
movement of the thermal spring to open and close the contacts.
SPST, Contact open on temperature rise. Rating: 120/240V, 1600
watt maximum. Inherent sensitivity: Approximate 2°F.
Dimensions: Case 1/2" high, 11/16" wide, 2-7/8"
overall length. Mounting holes on 2-17/32" centers. (Set
screw type 23/32" overall height). |
