It is a low-cost, dual output control whose features are standard in controllers twice it’s cost. A universal power supply along with a low voltage input option provides a wide operating range. The Smarter Logic function enables a process to reach it’s predetermined setpoint with minimal overshoot in the shortest time possible. Accuracy comes at no expense as the ETR-9000 utilizes a custom designed Application Specific Integrated Circuitry (ASIC) technology which contains an 18-bit A-D Converter for high resolution measurement. Combined with a sampling rate of 5 samples per second, this unit is suitable for fast processes. Other standard features include a security lockout and a soft-start ramping function. Digital communications are availible as an added option. The RS-485 option allows the ETR-9000 to be integrated with supervisory control systems or software packages. The compact panel footprint this controller offers is in no way directly proportional to the features that are offered. Housed inside of a case formed of a single mold, the ETR-3000 samples one of 17 process input types at 5 times per second providing quick, responsive control. A menu of over 40 parameter choices placed into various security groups creates a high level of flexibility while still user friendly. The SEL function allows the user to select frequently accessed parameters and move them to the front of the program providing instant access. Simple one touch auto-tuning will adjust the controller to respond according to your individual process characteristics. All parameters are retained in a nonvolatile memory when the power is shut off. A NEMA 4X front panel is featured for applications requiring wash-down such as in the food processing industry. OGDEN-Link is pre-configured specifically for the ETR-9200. OGDEN also offers ETR-Net® ... a software program for ETR-3400 and the ETR-9300 controls with serial communications.
